PROJECTS

Smart-Learning Factory

The “Smart-Learning Factory” is a small-scale production environment designed to simulate the conditions of a large-scale manufacturing process. It enables collaborative production while demonstrating the practical applications of Industry 4.0 technologies, such as automation, digitalization, and smart manufacturing systems. The project aims to provide decision-makers with a hands-on understanding of how these technologies can be implemented to improve manufacturing processes and support their adoption in different industries.

Akira III / Watakame I Rockets

I was a member of the student group “Momentum,” where I worked as part of the Electronics Team. My responsibilities included the design, integration, and testing of key electronic systems, including the flight computer, ignition system, power supply, and onboard sensors. Through this role, I gained hands-on experience in electronics, embedded systems, sensor integration, power management, and system testing, while collaborating with other team members to develop and integrate reliable systems for the vehicle.

Smart Motorized Wheel for Wheelchairs

In collaboration with Centro de Artes y Oficios de Don Bosco sobre Ruedas A.C., I contributed to the development of a removable motorized wheel attachment for active wheelchairs, designed specifically for highly independent wheelchair users who rely on their chairs for everyday mobility. My work focused on the electronic system, PCB design, and selection and integration of electrical components. The detachable design allows users to benefit from motorized assistance when needed while maintaining the lightweight and maneuverable characteristics of their active wheelchair when the system is not in use.

Cyberphysics 2DOF SCARA Robot

Developed a 2-DOF parallel SCARA robotic system from concept to functional prototype, integrating mechanical design, fabrication, and control. The robot allows operators to control its movements through intuitive hand gestures, providing a natural human-robot interaction approach. The project demonstrated the potential of parallel robotic architectures for applications such as pick-and-place operations, material sorting, assembly, and the handling of hazardous or inaccessible objects.

Prony Brake (Dynamometer)

Designed and manufactured a Prony brake dynamometer for the characterization and performance testing of electric motors. The system uses an adjustable friction strap around a pulley connected to the motor shaft to generate a controllable load, allowing the measurement of torque and evaluation of motor performance under different operating conditions. The project involved mechanical design, fabrication, and experimental testing to develop a practical and reliable testing system.
